Details:

  1. Write a short fiction story on the theme “The Source Of True Beauty” In 1,500 words of less.
  2. Upload and publish your Short Story to okadabooks.com. See how to upload and publish here – http://discuss.okadabooks.com/t/creating-an-epub-on-okadabooks-from-scratch-the-sequel/325
  3. When publishing, in the field provided for the book title, please add (#APENcontest) at the end of your title, in bracket. For Example Title: Beauty is Wrapped in my Arms (#ApenContest)
  4. Set your price at 0 naira.
  5. At the start of the voting period (NOTE: Downloads will be reset to “0” on the 25th of October 2017 at 12 midnight WAT), Invite your friends, family, neighbors, teachers, classmates, etc, to vote for your story by
    • Downloading a copy
    • Reading your Story,
    • Rating it
    • Leaving a review
  6. Your entry must be original, in English, unpublished and unproduced, not accepted by any other publisher or producer at the time of submission. OkadaBooks retains one-time nonexclusive publication rights to the winning entries to be published in a OkadaBooks publication. Any piece posted online, anywhere other than a personal blog, is considered published.
  7. BE SURE OF YOUR WORD COUNT! Entries exceeding the word limits will be disqualified.
