- Syncity NG has finally released their Anniversary Anthology + competition. After publishing the longlist and shortlist, winning stories have emerged.
- The judges for the anthology were Leye Adenle and Mukoma Ngugi and Tendia Huchu wrote the Introduction.
The anthology titled ‘A Feast Of Memory’ celebrates its one year anniversary since it made its presence known in the African literary scene.
The list of winners are as follows;
Joint first place winners:
Frances Ogamba : A Memorial In Service of Our Daughter, Sister, and Cousin
Chiedozie: Diagnosis
Third place winner:
Ezeani Chucks : A Zanga Soldier Never Dies
Fourth place winner:
Erhu Kome Yellow: This Too Shall Pass
Fifth place winner:
Maureen Onyeziri : Taming the Spirit
The winners will be rewarded with cash prizes, mentoring sessions, editing packages and books.
The founder, Cynthia Onyinye Osuchukwu is a writer, entrepreneur, the creative director of a digital agency called 25pointzero. For a long time, she had been writing on social media, soon a number of people urged her to open a blog which she kept putting off until she decided to open Syncity NG.
