Writers celebrate wins almost every day but notably this month will witness the Quramo Prize winner. These moments are important to the African Storytelling and writing. We are set to witness and applaud these emerging stars.

The Quramo Writers’ Prize is an African Award for new and emerging writers. It celebrates people who are working every day to develop their craft and record our continent’s original stories. QWP aims to encourage and stimulate a new community of talented writers. It provides an opportunity for otherwise unexposed talent to achieve publishing recognition and encouragement.
