Easter is here and the sweet scent of chicken and beef still lingers. The spirit of sharing is at an all time high. Our Magazine lingers too, waiting to be crowned with a befitting title that only you can supply.

Whilst Easter is celebrated every year, we won’t always do this. Like the son of man, our requirement this year won’t be around for long. Will we do this again? Maybe, but the time and season, nobody knows.

It is not too late to participate in our title of the year nominations. While there will be no gnashing of teeth if you let it pass you buy; you’d instead lose out on benefits. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet but would our magazine smell as sweet to you if your title isn’t used? Subjective, isn’t it?

cfwriterz runs a biannual literary prize that seeks to recognize emerging voices in African literature. This year, 2019, we would like to promote fresh new voices. Your book title could be our theme for the June or December Magazines. Two winning titles would grace our Magazine themes. This promises free promotion for winning titles.

How to Nominate:

1. Visit the cfwriterz Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

2. Find the contest post by using the hashtag #TitleOfTheYear

2. Nominate by comments, the title of a book, collection of stories, poetry chapbook or novel by your favourite author.

3.  Share, Retweet and Regrann the nomination post and tag your friends to vote your nomination.

You can apply with your own title.
