Keeping African literature and storytelling alive is always going to be a venture beyond our good intentions and admiration.

Itanile is currently administering a $2000 annual fund that goes to literary prizes and team operations. These funds are provided by Collins Elesiro (CEO, Crystallinks Education, UK) and Oladeji Jonathan D. (Founder, Itanile). To fund our workshops, guest editors, judges, and promotional efforts, we hope to match this with $2000 in annual donations.Authors across Africa have to wade through murky publishing and marketing waters. Itanile has established itself as a leading channel, funding, supporting and guiding African writers through this testy artform. We look to the support of those who value the arts and who have grown with the benefits of literature. If you ever read stories as a child or loved poetry for its intellectual depths, or you wish to see African history and culture sustained in stories.
